Here's my tiny boy coming home from the hospital! I can hardly believe it's been over 6 months already!

I'm kinda amazed that my little tiny baby is now an enormous 6 month old. He's healthy and generally happy (except when we are trying to get him to go to sleep at night). He's definitely becoming more aware of his surroundings and leans towards and lunges for both his brother and our cat. He's also started raising his arms up when he wants Todd or me to pick him up. It's cute. The separation anxiety is a little less cute.

He's started to jabber... he's said 'mamamama' clearly not in reference to me, but hey! I'll take what I can get.

Also not cute is his current not sleeping phase. He spoiled us early on by sleeping though the night at about 2 months, maybe waking once to nurse..... It was lovely. But being a baby, he totally is doing what babies do, and changing it all up on us. He's been waking up about 2-4 times a night for the past month and it's kinda killing me. Unlike his brother who nursed for 45 minute or longer at a time- at least Ollie only nurses for 5-10 minutes, but still, waking every 2 hours is really exhausting. I desperately hope he goes back to sleeping better once his first teeth FINALLY come in.

Did I mention that he still hasn't gotten any teeth? He doesn't. I know they are in there just dying to come out... I wish they would already.

It's a good thing he's adorable... look at those cheeks!! Totally pinch-able.

Holy crow time is flying! Just look at my giant baby! I'm happy to report that he's healthy and doing well. He was a real champ at his doctor's visit yesterday. He didn't complain once, not even for his shot. He even giggled a little just after Dr. Keith slapped a bandaid on his chunky thigh. That's my boy!

Getting big! Fast!
